The Client’s Wish
The homeowners, a middle-aged couple, wanted a compact, elegant puja unit that would complement their modern interiors. Their brief was clear:

They didn’t want an elaborate temple, just a neat, beautiful spot for daily prayers and spiritual focus.
Our Thoughtful Approach
We began by identifying the perfect location—an unused wall near the living room that received soft natural light. This spot offered both visibility and calm.
We designed a wall-mounted puja unit with a sleek wooden frame and laser-cut back panel that featured an Om motif. The warm wooden tones were paired with a soft white laminate to give the space a divine glow without overwhelming the modern aesthetic.
The design also included:
- A compact base unit with drawers for storing incense, prayer books, and essentials
- Soft LED lighting to highlight the deity and create a serene ambiance
- A stone-finish background to symbolize purity and grounding
Every element was chosen to reflect simplicity, respect, and style.
The Finishing Touches
We added brass bell accents, and the shelves were designed to hold small idols and diyas without looking crowded. The lighting was warm, not harsh, perfect for early morning and evening prayers.
